The world was abuzz with excitement last night to see who was wearing what on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. There was no sleep for us, as we couldn’t tale our eyes off the red carpet action and we fell in love with so many of the gorgeous gowns.

Charlize Theron was all aflutter in Dior, the brand for which she is spokesperson, but still we love the mermaid tail, which is so on-trend at the moment.

Kate Beckinsale was a knockout in Roberto Cavalli. Her hair, the dress – it was all-out perfection and looked like she spent a good deal of time preparing for this moment.

Jessica Alba wowed in Gucci. Jessica doesn’t often look bad in anything, but she really worked the Gucci gown, which complimented her skin perfectly.

Nicole Richie smouldered in Julien Macdonald. She once wore dungarees as she made her way around the USA with Paris Hilton, but look at her now in this gorgeous molten silver dress – a transformation indeed.

Zooey Deschanel showed off in Prada. And the best bit? The New Girl actress had it custom made for her. It’s a million miles away from her usual style and we love it!

Emma Stone looked sultry in Lanvin. We were very excited to see Lanvin on the red carpet – one of the designers du jour that we adore, Emma really carried off this two-tone dress.

Lea Michele looked like artwork in Marchesa. A far cry from what her character Rachel wears in Glee, Lea wowed the crowds in this revealing number.
