Kate Moss, Anna del Russo and Anna Wintour Attend The Prada 24 Hour Museum

In a clever move last night, Prada showed some love to art by launching a 24-hour museum in Paris. Designed by artist and satirist Francesco Vezzoli with Rem Koolhaas’ think tank AMO.

The Palais d’Iena in Paris was host to the glitterati attending, with Kate Moss DJing and Jonathan Newhouse, Diane Kruger, Anna Wintour and Emmanuelle Alt among guests were there.

Divided into three sections, each is influenced by a particular type of museum space – historic, contemporary, and ‘forgotten’.

The installation features 13 five-metre high neoclassic sculptures, or ‘Disco Sculptures’ as Vezzoli calls them, fusing the bodies of classical Greek goddesses with the familiar faces of iconic celebrities of our time, including Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly.

The 24h Museum’s first 150 minutes unfolded as a private dinner for a cross-section of fashion, art and Hollywood bon vivants, many already in Paris for the Haute Couture collections.

Prada also talked to its virtual visitors by encouraging them to create their own portrait through a dedicated app on Facebook.
