·      In unexpected news, Celine cancels its catwalk show. To take the pressure off Creative Director Phoebe Philo, who is expecting a child, the brand is now hosting an intimate presentation.

·      To celebrate Chinese New Year, La Vallée Village (one of the nine Chic Outlet Shopping® Villages by Value Retail) set students from the renowned fashion school Esmod a challenge to reinterpret traditional Chinese dress.

·      Good news – Jaeger owner Harold Tillman will extend his term at the British Fashion Council.

·      Amy Winehouse’s father was shocked by Gaultier’s fashion show according to The Sun. Jean Paul Gaultier claims the spring/summer 2012 haute couture collection was a ‘tribute’ fashion show, however her father Mitch says “This is purely about Gaultier making money, and that’s wrong.”

·      Karl Lagerfield launched his collection KARL by Karl Lagerfeld for Net-A-Porter
