I think her comments about Kate’s eyeliner are spot-on, actually! Not sure about the rest of her opinions, but every time I see a photo of Kate, I just want to attack her with a cotton bud and do some smearing.

I’m not a fashion expert, but definitely a fashionista, who follows fashion online, via magazines, such as Telva (highly regarded in Spain), Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and travels a lot. I am not a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s style, at least not in general, nor of her personal look. It may suit her eccentric personality, but it’s definitely not something I would want to look like at her age nor younger. On the other hand, Kate’s style although very conservative and moderate, is also probably quite appropriate for what her “position” is, which is “working” for an institution, which in turn is the epitome of a conservative attitude. Yet, she’s managing to have a fresh, modern and young look, one which many woman are dying to follow and copy. Maybe she’s not exciting and unique, like Maxima Zorreguita or Mary Donaldson, but at least she’s also consistent and always impeccably turned out. All in all, I would prefer to dress like Kate than Vivienne. As for the makeup, that I do have to agree with the designer. But then again, to each her own.. if Kate is comfortable and secure with her look, then she needs to go with it; or maybe with time, she’ll learn to make small changes that will suit her more.
